Welcome to Tutifyy ("the Platform"). By accessing or using our mobile application, website, or any associated services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease using the platform.

1. Scope of Services

Tutifyy operates as a hybrid tutor marketplace providing a digital venue where parents/students ("Users") and self-employed educators ("Tutors") can discover, connect, and arrange online or offline localized tutoring services. Tutifyy acts strictly as a matching infrastructure provider and does not directly employ Tutors or assume operational control over the specific instructional sessions.

2. Platform Fees, Booking, and Trial Sessions

• Onboarding Booking Fee: Users are subject to a standard, low-friction entry/onboarding booking fee starting at ₹81 to initiate the matchmaking workflow on the Platform.

• Demo Sessions: Users may request a trial loop consisting of a standard 1-hour demo session to gauge academic chemistry before committing to a full lesson bundle.

  • Online Demo: Pricing starts at ₹81.

  • Offline Demo: Pricing starts at ₹149.

  • Non-Refundability: All demo session payments are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Continuous Package Subscriptions: Continuous learning structures are categorized into tiered monthly subscription packages starting at ₹1,999/month.

3. Educator Changes and Package Refund Policy

• 7-Day Change Window: Users are permitted to request a change of their assigned Tutor within the first 7 calendar days following the purchase of a lesson package.

• Frequency Cap: Users are restricted to a maximum of two (2) educator changes per month.

• Package Refundability: Users may cancel a purchased lesson package and request a refund. Any issued refund will strictly exclude the basic onboarding booking fee, which is entirely non-refundable.

4. Verification Processes & Safety Protocols

• Standard Verification: Tutifyy requires all onboarded Tutors to successfully clear standard educational validation and formal identity verification checks to establish entry-level platform access.

• Disclaimer on Background Verification: While Tutifyy makes reasonable commercial efforts to check IDs and credentials, Users acknowledge that the Platform does not perform criminal background checks or full-scale forensic law enforcement screening. Users accept responsibility for exercising standard domestic discretion when admitting individuals into their homes.

• Female-to-Female Connect: To promote psychological comfort, Tutifyy's algorithmic matching system defaults to pairing female students with verified female tutors for localized in-person or digital lessons, fostering baseline trust and organic alignment.

• Tech-Enabled Check-Ins: Offline sessions are tracked utilizing a GPS-verified operations dashboard for check-ins, automated attendance mapping, and scheduling integrity.

5. The Plus Blue Badge System

• Premium Status Definition: The Plus Blue Badge is an exclusive, premium visibility tier separate from standard onboarding verification.

• Eligibility Criteria: A Tutor may unlock the Plus Blue Badge through two distinct pathways:

  1. Opting into and paying for the premium Paid Verification framework.

  2. Demonstrating consistent operational volume by completing at least 500 instructional classes within a single calendar month.

• Priority Search Optimization: Possession of a Plus Blue Badge grants the Tutor priority placement in user-facing search results feeds, which may historically increase active consumer lead inquiries by up to 3x.

6. Financial Revenue Mechanics for Tutors

• Platform Service Commission: Tutifyy retains a marketplace service fee (Take Rate) ranging from 15% to 20% on all hourly or monthly tutoring financial transactions facilitated through the system.

• Subscription and Premium Badge Fees: Tutors choosing to accelerate lead generation prior to reaching the 500-class milestone may opt to pay a recurring premium monthly status fee to hold and maintain active verified/priority Blue Badge standing.

7. Tutor Request Dashboard (No Bidding)

• Direct Feed Access: Tutors do not engage in competitive monetary bidding wars for student placements. Instead, parents post specific, stream-based educational needs, and eligible Tutors review and select these active local opportunities directly from their unified Platform Dashboard.

8. Limitation of Liability

Tutifyy provides an aggregation and tracking engine but does not dictate the physical behavior or absolute academic outcomes of the sessions. The platform shall not be held liable for personal disputes, academic performance variances, or independent liabilities arising out of contracts formed directly between Users and independent Tutors beyond the boundaries of platform features.
